Donnie Alexander Jr.

Board Member

Donnie is a devoted husband, father, son, grandson and friend to many. Donnie wears many hats, rarely meeting a stranger. He truly believes in being a positive light in the lives of those around him. He is the Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 102 of Okmulgee encouraging the future youth of tomorrow to be effective and dutiful members of society. Donnie holds a passion for working with people with developmental disabilities and worked in this field for well over two decades. He holds a mindset of positivity for this population by spreading awareness, accessibility and equality, and by living as an example of their positive potential. Donnie serves as a co-chair board member for the Okmulgee County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Scholarship Committee, a non-profit dedicated to assisting high school students in Okmulgee county with transitioning to college. He serves as an active member with the Oklahoma Mass Youth Choir, working in conjunction with youth ministry regionals. Donnie diligently serves as a board member of Landmark for All Generations which oversees the restoration of Oklahoma’s first African American hospital located in Okmulgee. Mr. Alexander is a member of Morning Star Baptist Church led by Pastor Andre Thompson where he serves as a deacon. Donnie is compassionate and dedicated to being a servant for God.
