11:30 AM–12:30 PM – Lunch in Okmulgee

1:30 PM – Tour in Sapulpa

5:00 PM – Return to hotel

Discover how Okmulgee and Sapulpa leveraged the federal Historic Preservation Tax Credit (HTC) to reactivate landmark buildings and rebuild a downtown residential base. Stops include the Muscogee Nation’s Creek Council House Museum, which highlights the role of tribal organizations in downtown renewal; adaptive reuse at the Ford Lofts; the McBrayer Building; and preservation efforts at the Orpheum Theater.
