At Okmulgee Main Street, our projects are designed to enhance downtown while celebrating its unique history and character. From beautification efforts to business development, each initiative reflects our mission to make downtown Okmulgee a great place to live, work, and visit.

Wall Street

With generous support from AARP, we have transformed and revitalized one of our historic downtown spaces into a vibrant, welcoming space that enhances the beauty of our downtown and creates a space where everyone in the community can gather.

Will Sampson Statue

The statue will stand in downtown Okmulgee, Oklahoma, serving as a lasting tribute to Sampson's impact on the arts and cultural heritage. This installation will celebrate both his professional achievements and his role as a cultural ambassador.

Murals

Our mural projects bring color and creativity to downtown Okmulgee by showcasing local art on historic buildings. These vibrant murals celebrate community pride, history, and culture while enhancing the visual appeal of our Main Street district.

Trap, Neuter, Release

Our volunteer-led TNR project helps manage the community cat population by humanely trapping, spaying or neutering, and returning stray and feral cats. This reduces overpopulation and supports a healthier environment for both cats and the community.
